Artes de Cuba is a gallery of contemporary Cuban art showcasing the work of Cuba's dynamic contemporary art scene. Established in February of 2022, co-directors Peggy Gaustad and Stuart Ashman aim to enhance people's understanding of the artistic talent, breadth, and beauty that exists in this remarkable island nation. Having grown up in Cuba, Stuart has a special connection to and relationship with the many artists he has befriended over the years. Peggy and Stuart have organized and led more than forty trips to Cuba in the last twelve years. Their knowledge and love of Cuba have brought them to this new venture, Artes de Cuba.
